Hello my friends,
I am blogging from Toronto, Canada's Pearson International Airport. This is a super nice airport and they have wi-fi for all here. As some of you may know, we opted to not go to sleep last night because we have such an early flight out that we would have had to go to bed uncharacteristically early for us. Our flight out was a piece of cake or as Chef Anne Burrell says a POC. Nate who has never flown loved being on the plane. Everything was more thrilling than the last. He loved backing away from the terminal, and then taxing down the runway was fun and then take off trumped all of it. He was having a blast until we banked to go north, that wasn't great fun for him. But he was a trooper!
Well as I said we are sitting in Toronto and will be for the next few hours. I'm thinking that it might be nap time after I finish with my emails and blogs.
Something cool, we got Canadian change back at lunch today. I was thinking of converting it but this is part of our journey so perhaps I won't, at least not all of it. Contrary to what people were eager to tell me about our flight, we WILL NOT be going over large bodies of water. Most of our flight to Beijing will be over land (western Canada and Alaska) we cross a little bit of the Bearing Straight and a sliver of the Pacific Ocean. That does make me relax a bit more. I know that God is in control and He will get us safely to our destination.
Well off to Facebook. I want to see if I can access it from here.
Until Beijing!
