Today is the day for my class but it was cancelled today, I was called but I misunderstood the meaning of the call and I went to the campus today to teach however I was informed of the fact that my class was cancelled and I caught the 45 city bus home. Not a real big deal as I got picked up by Chuck on his scooter when I got off the 45 and then we went to Popland to get some ice cream. Talking to Chuck I told him that I wanted to get a dress with short sleeves for the summer here and that is what we did. He rode me around the corner and I got a new dress one with a hemline more in keeping with American dress lengths.

Well my post from this morning did well at catching everyone up let me talk about today now. In the morning I just slept since we were out late with the Graduation Party. When I did get up and going today I had a light breakfast and then made sure my Chinese homework was in my backpack because this afternoon I had my Chinese lesson with Zhu Fang or Carol. We spent an hour going over my homework and her speaking into my recorder on my cell phone and after that she showed me how to get a ride on the campus bus and we rode to her dorm to get a DVD she had burned for me. The dorm rooms on the new campus are similar to those in the US; four girls are in a room and each has there own bed and desk area, I didn’t see closets but I would assume that is also the same. They have a bathroom that is part of their room making the rooms more like a suite. Now I was in the room of an upper classmen so that may also have some bearing but I think that all dorms are like that. She also had to sign me in because I don’t live there, very much like in the states.
I took the city bus home tonight as I had just missed the 5:10 bus and didn’t want to sit around the campus and wait for the 6:30 bus. Before I got on the bus and while I was walking from Carol’s dorm I went in the store near her dorm and the clock tower and tried a different Green Tea. Some are sweetened to work with the tastes of foreigners (and some Chinese too) and others aren’t sweetened but served traditionally. This one is not as sweet as my preferred brand but not totally unsweetened either.
Well it is that time of the night so I better be getting to bed. Talk to you again soon.
